Our facility sits on 150 acres of land with large open pastures, a perfect setting for our horses to graze and run free. This freedom allows them to build their bodies and minds naturally in a herd grouping. There are also numerous outdoor turnout paddocks, an outdoor riding arena, and a park-like yard to sit and relax in as you enjoy the presence of our wonderful Gypsy Cobs. Indoors you’ll find a facility that boasts housing and box stalls for up to 20 horses, a wash bay, and grooming areas. Our large indoor riding arena is perfect for year round riding, training and showing of our horses. We are blessed to have a veterinarian that lives on site and watches over our herd on a daily basis, as well as a full time trainer/groomer/ferrier to ensure our horses and young stock have the very best of care, nutrition, training and handling. All our Gypsies are handled extensively by our trainer to ensure a quiet, well behaved animal at any age. Of course it certainly doesn’t hurt that the Gypsies by nature are calm and eager to learn. It is truly amazing to see how fast they become skilled in their new knowledge and retain it from day to day. This is indeed a unique breed in the wonderful world of horses. Our love for horses spans a lifetime and our commitment to breeding the best of the breed is obvious from our chosen breeding stock. We have literally searched the world and brought some of the finest examples of Gypsy Cobs right here to Canada. In 2009 we introduced our newest member of the North Fork family… the one and only “Clononeen Tumbleweed”, known the world over as the “Sire of Sires. He is without a doubt one of the top stallions alive in the world today. In 2010 we added Clononeen Tullamore Dew, "Tully" for short, who put some lovely foals on the ground for us last year. Now in 2011 we are proud to introduce the Legend of Legends, Billy Boy, one of the most well known foundation stallions in Europe, now at North Fork. Starting from the very first 6 horses we imported from England our philosophy has been simple and consistent...start with legends and build from there.
